## Data Transfer Mechanism for EEA and UK Users

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom, interview practice and coaching content transmitted to OpenAI is transferred under appropriate safeguards including:

- **Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs)** approved by the European Commission
- **UK International Data Transfer Addendum (UK IDTA)** for UK transfers
- OpenAI's Data Processing Addendum (DPA) under Article 28 GDPR

OpenAI processes API inputs as a subprocessor under our instructions and applicable data processing agreement.

OpenAI has committed that data submitted through the API is **not used to train or improve OpenAI's general models**, as stated in their API Data Usage Policies. Career Coach AI selects providers that offer this commitment for API usage.
