You have the right to delete your data from Career Coach AI at any time. This page explains what data we hold, how to delete it, and what limitations apply.

2. Important Note on AI Provider

When you submit practice answers or coaching chat messages, that content is transmitted to our AI service provider. Once processed, that data is governed by the AI provider's own retention and deletion policies, disclosed at /en/privacy/ai-provider. Deleting your Career Coach AI account removes data from our systems but may not affect data already processed by the AI provider. Review the AI provider's policies directly for further information.

3. How to Delete Your Account

On iOS: Open Career Coach AI → Settings → Account → Delete Account → Confirm.

On Android: Open Career Coach AI → Settings → Account → Delete Account → Confirm.

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Server-side data is removed within 30 days of confirmation. Before deleting, export any session reports or progress data you want to keep (Settings → Export), and cancel your subscription first.

4. What Gets Deleted

Within 30 days of account deletion: account credentials, career profile data, all interview practice content, all voice recordings and transcripts, all career coach chat history, all performance scores and radar data, all Job Tracker entries, and push notification tokens (immediately upon deletion).

Deleted automatically on a rolling basis: crash and error logs (12 months), anonymized usage analytics (12 months).

Not deleted on account deletion: subscription and transaction records (10 years per Turkish commercial law), support communications relevant to a dispute (up to 3 years).

5. Deleting Individual Sessions or Recordings

You can delete individual practice sessions, voice recordings, or coaching chat entries without deleting your entire account. Open the session or recording in-app → tap Delete. This removes the item from your device and our servers within 30 days.

6. Deleting Job Tracker Entries

Open the Job Tracker → tap the application entry → Delete. Job Tracker entries can be deleted individually at any time. Deleting your account removes all Job Tracker data.

7. Cancel Subscription Before Deleting

Deleting your account does not cancel your subscription.

iOS: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → Career Coach AI → Cancel. Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Career Coach AI → Cancel.

Cancel first, then delete your account.

8. Third-Party Data

Apple (iOS) and Google (Android) hold your store account information independently — manage at https://privacy.apple.com or https://myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy.

Our AI provider processes practice and coaching content under their own terms — see /en/privacy/ai-provider.

9. After Deletion

Deletion is permanent and irreversible. Session history, voice recordings, coaching chat, Job Tracker data, and your account cannot be recovered. Practice content already transmitted to and processed by the AI provider is governed by that provider's own policies.

10. Your Additional Privacy Rights

Access: email app@icitech.com.tr — subject "Data Access Request — Career Coach AI". Correct data in-app or via email. Export session data: Settings → Export. Delete individual sessions in-app. Revoke microphone permission in device settings. Withdraw marketing consent: Settings → Privacy → Marketing Preferences. EEA and UK users may lodge complaints with local DPAs — see /en/privacy/gdpr. Turkish users: https://www.kvkk.gov.tr/. We respond within 30 days, free of charge.
